For the future of my channel, I plan on continuing to deliver high-quality and entertaining content for all of you to enjoy. These numbers mean a lot to me, at first I thought I would achieve this sub-goal within the next half-decade of not being very active and not enthusiastic on YouTube. Since I made changes and had more time and dedication to this channel, I finally made it! And it's all thanks to you! From being a random video poster, a non-commentary gaming channel, a poorly edited PS4 video gaming channel, and now, a simulation gaming channel. Who mainly uploads Automation/BeamNG.drive videos. I'm also considering on deleting some of the copied and completely useless videos on my channel in light of nearing the monetization goal of reaching 4,000 watch time hours which I'll reach that within the next two or three months from now. And again, for those who have been with me during these tough times in the COVID-19 pandemic, or even around the time when I first started this channel, I couldn't thank you enough!
On March 23th, 2021, I've finally managed to reach 1,000 subscribers on my YouTube channel. It's been about 10 years and 1 month to reach this ambitious, yet achievable goal. As you probably know, I started my YouTube channel on February 23rd, 2011, when YouTube was quite simple back in the day. With the rise of Minecraft gaming videos, Pewdiepie, Markiplier, Smosh, Prime nigahiga, etc. The reason why I created this account back in the day was to subscribe and follow the Happy Wheels game trend with YouTubers such as Uberhaxornova, Jacksepticeye, and many more. I didn't watch a whole lot of Pewdiepie's videos because I thought that his character and style of videos were somewhat annoying. That didn't age well at all! With the creation of my channel, I kept the name as is to this date, including the zeros at the end. What the name really stands for is a ("name blend?") of a nickname back in elementary and middle school which was "Jacob The Con Artist." Me being somewhat of a wannabe hardcore kid outside of the class. The zeros didn't mean anything as I wanted to make myself look more "official" and to stand out more than everyone else on the platform. Recently, I found out to make the number have a meaning for the channel. It now stands for, "Starting with 0 views, 0 subscribers, and 0 fame." I'm mulling that I should drop the zeros in the future to make myself more professional and a tad more recognizable. Like MrBeast, his channel name back in the day was "MrBeast6000" until he dropped the numbers later on in his YouTube career. To summarize how I got the name, the "Mr" stand for me identifying myself as a man, the "Jac" for the first syllable in my name, "Con" for the word con artist in Jacob The Con Artist, and the "000's" for the channel filler name that now has a purpose.
For the future of my channel, I plan on continuing to deliver high-quality and entertaining content for all of you to enjoy. These numbers mean a lot to me, at first I thought I would achieve this sub-goal within the next half-decade of not being very active and not enthusiastic on YouTube. Earlier today, I have reached a new milestone in terms of the subscribers I have on my YouTube channel. I have reached a total of 500 subscribers! While it took me 2 1/2 years since I'd got 250 subs, I haven't slowed down a bit! Usually when I reach a milestone like this, I would make changes on my channel in honorary of achieving it. I have future plans on updating my channel trailer as it hasn't been updated in November 2017. I don't have any plans for updating my intro/outro as they will remain the same, unless I change my mind and do so. For my 500 subscribers, I really thank you for the continuing support this means a lot for me!
Yesterday night, I have surpassed another major milestone in video views. I have reached more than 1 million views since the day I've created my channel on February 23rd, 2011. Even though I'm a small YouTuber with some potential, this is a big step for me to see what I'm capable of. Also, for those who've been worrying about me not posting anything new for the past 5 months is because I'm so devoted to my sophomore year in college. I have been focused on schoolwork that I've never got the chance to record anything. I'm planning on getting back on track during my Thanksgiving break and during winter break around late December. I've bought a few new games on Steam such as Kerbal Space Program, POSTAL 4, and Thief Simulator. I want to start recording those if I have the time to do it. I'm also considering on recording Cities: Skylines since I've featured it on a benchmarking video of the Nvidia FX 580 VS 750 Ti SC which you can see the video HERE. Despite the hiatus in uploading videos, I promise to get back on track shortly. Even though YouTube's overhauling its policy very soon...
Ladies and gentlemen, one of my milestones for reaching 250 subscribers have been achieved! I have just reached 250 before 1:00 PM and I was at 248 subscribers yesterday. As promised, I will be debuting a brand new intro/outro scenes on all my videos starting Wednesday. The intro/outro video itself will be posted tomorrow on here and on my YouTube channel. Down below, there's a screenshot from my phone showing that I've reached 250 and having over 800,000 total video views. Isn't that amazing!? Yesterday, I realized that I have reached another viewer milestone of 750,000 video views. Most of these videos that have a lot of views are my older ones dated back several years ago. Back then, I just posted random, popular content and fads. Those racked up quite a bit of views. Especially my Tourettes Guy Lottery video and my To Anacreon In Heaven video. If you want to see my older, but popular videos, click right HERE to check those out!
I'm starting my website for my YouTube channel here on Weebly. I will eventually upgrade this to a hosted domain, rather than a subdomain. This website is only used for recent uploads of my PS4 or my PC, including blog posts for recent updates on my channel, or projects that I'm doing on YouTube. You can also subscribe to any blog post that I created by clicking on the RSS Feed button and simply subscribe to this feed to get any updates 24/7.
